This is a list of local and regional emergency communications networks. In addition to emergencies, most of these nets activate on a regular basis for training and information purposes.
  • St. Louis County ARES®

    Scheduled Voice Net: Wednesdays, 7:30 PM Central Time

    Frequency: 145.070 MHz simplex FM packet mode
    Scheduled Digital Net: Wednesdays, 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM Central Time
    Notes:
    Directed net.
    The purpose of this net is to give the participants an opportunity to test their digital equipment and software. Get on 145.070 MHz simplex FM (no tones) and use connected packet radio mode. Contact will be made through the Missouri Emergency Packet Network (MEPN) 'MSTL' node. Once you have connected to MSTL, connect to station N0ARS (St. Louis County ARES). Please leave your name, call sign, location, and any traffic you may have.
    All amateur radio operators are welcome to participate.

    Digital Experiments: No set schedule

    This is not a net. Members of St. Louis County ARES® arrange to meet with each other on this frequency when they wish to test various digital modes such as PSK31, RTTY, and station-to-station packet.
