Net Control Station information

We encourage all ARES® Registered Volunteers to act as the Net Control Station for our weekly 2 meter net. You can do it just once, just occasionally, or you can become one of our regular Net Controllers.

Weekly HF voice nets

St. Louis County ARES® does not have any regular HF nets at this time, but we do encourage participation in the following nets:

  • Missouri Emergency Services Net:
This Missouri-wide net is not restricted to ARES® operations, but is open to any emergency communications needs. The practice net is held every Sunday afternoon at 6:30 PM on 3.963 MHz LSB. The Net Controller will call for check ins by county, but you do not have to be an ARES® Registered Volunteer to participate.
